Timer does not restart when time left

When using a custom trigger, which trigger a timer, I am setting the following issue. I believe this has worked fine in the past.

The timer is has the following unchecked "Ignore timer restarts while time left". The timer is actually using default settings. When trigger is activated, the timer start. If you initiate the trigger again while there is time left - the timer will not restart.
