For the last three days, I haven't been able to get qBittorrent to upload or download any public torrents. Public torrents stay stalled with the message “Not contacted yet” on the trackers. Private torrents work as expected, and their trackers are connectable. The only public torrents that download successfully are those that include HTTP sources.
I’ve tried many fixes I found in similar discussions, such as: changing the peer connection protocol to TCP only, changing the port, disabling UPnP in qBittorrent (I also port-forwarded the qBittorrent port in the router settings), disabling rate limits for the μTP protocol and transport overhead, disabling and re-enabling DHT, PeX, and Local Peer Discovery, and binding the network interface to wlan0 and the IP address to IPv4.
I also tested whether the issue might be with my home network and concluded that it isn’t, because the problem persists even when I connect through a mobile hotspot from a different carrier (which I’ve used for torrenting before without issues). I’m on Linux, and I’ve tested qBittorrent in Docker — the Docker instance worked perfectly. I’ve also tested qBittorrent on Windows, and it worked there as well.
Does anybody have other ideas as to what I can do?
