About This Portfolio

This repository documents my work and learning process throughout the course Digital Design and Fabrication.

The portfolio follows a blog-style documentation approach, covering the development of physical and interactive prototypes using digital fabrication technologies, electronics, and computational design methods.

The purpose of this portfolio is not only to present final results, but also to document:

  • Design processes
  • Experimentation and prototyping
  • Technical workflows
  • Challenges and iterations
  • Reflections and learnings

Each exercise entry includes photographs, fabrication steps, tools, materials, design decisions, and observations gathered during the course.

Course Topics

Throughout the semester, the portfolio will cover practical work and experiments related to:

  • Electronic Circuits
  • Arduino & Physical Computing
  • Sensors and Actuators
  • Interactive Textile Design
  • CNC Milling
  • Laser Cutting
  • CAD Modelling & 3D Printing
  • 3D Scanning and Digital Reconstruction

Portfolio Structure

Each exercise is documented individually and contains:

  • Objective of the exercise
  • Design and fabrication process
  • Software and hardware used
  • Challenges and troubleshooting
  • Final outcomes
  • Personal reflections and improvements

Documentation Approach

This portfolio is continuously updated during the semester as new exercises, prototypes, and fabrication experiments are completed.

All media, photographs, sketches, and fabrication results are created and documented by me unless stated otherwise. External references and resources are properly credited where applicable.

Repository Purpose

This repository serves as:

  • A course portfolio
  • A fabrication process journal
  • A technical documentation archive
  • A collection of iterative design experiments in digital fabrication
